Best of the Bay has been rebalanced to reflect the way people cook today: more flavor, lower sodium and a cleaner finish. We reduced the salt so the spices can come forward, then added smoked paprika to bring a gentle smoky note that makes the blend feel warmer, rounder and more complete.
The updated blend keeps the familiar coastal character people expect from a classic seafood seasoning, with celery, mustard, bay leaves, cayenne, ginger, allspice and cloves adding aroma, depth and a subtle lift. Sweet paprika brings color and balance, while smoked paprika gives shrimp, crab, fish, vegetables and fries a more finished flavor without making the blend taste heavy.
The result is a brighter, more balanced Best of the Bay. It still belongs with seafood boils, steamed shrimp and crab cakes, but it is more versatile than before. Sprinkle it over fries and tater tots, use it on roasted vegetables, season chicken or stir it into mayonnaise for a quick sandwich spread or dipping sauce.
